Our Story

My neighbors and I have been working together to help the feral cat population in our community, witnessing the positive impact has motivated me to share our experiences. I created this page to share our story along with local resources, encouraging others to implement similar initiatives in their area.

What is The Cats Potato?

One day, my brother noticed a potato with scratches on my kitchen floor. He asked if I wanted him to throw it away. I replied, “No, that’s the cat's potato!” He laughed and put it back on the floor. I explained to him how much my cat loved playing with the potato, so I leave it there for him to enjoy.

"The Cat's Potato" became a symbol representing the small acts of kindness we extend for the happiness of others.
